The Jubilee Orpington was named to honor the 1897 Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The Jubilee was first introduced by William Cook's family and was originally believed to be a cross between Spangled Old English Game, Dorkings and Buff Orpingtons. However, some believe there has been a strong influence from the Speckled Sussex.

Introduced in 1897 by the WIlliam Cook family to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria's reign, Jubilee Orpingtons have a mahogany ground color with white-tipped black spangles, white shanks and feet, and red eyes. The parent flock is one of my healthiest, frequently giving me 100% fertility rates and 100% hatch rates.
